The American Staffing Association announced its 2025 top staffing employees this week, naming Alechia Randle, a CNA traveling with Fusion Medical Staffing, as an All-Star Finalist.
Randle, currently working as a CNA at Kimball County Manor in Kimball, Nebraska, is a Lafayette, Louisiana native who is being awarded for the high level of patient care she delivers in the Kimball community.
“I chose to be a travel healthcare professional because I want to make sure I am always serving people in populations that need extra help,” said Randle. “I have a goal of working in every state in the country so I can meet as many locals as possible while experiencing their food and culture.”
Randle was nominated for this award by her recruiter after a Nebraska reporter reached out to Fusion to learn more about the healthcare staffing industry after meeting Randle. The reporter explained that she couldn’t believe a stranger from a different state would be able to provide the care that her mother needed, and she was so happy to be wrong. This led Randle to be featured in an article about travel clinicians in Nebraska.
“Alechia is the perfect person to represent the staffing industry,” said Brandi Kaasch, Randle's recruiter. “She is selfless, caring, and prioritizes connecting with the people around her. She has done work to end stigma around travel healthcare professionals, and the industry is better because of her and other clinicians like her.”
The National Staffing Employee of the Year program recognizes the most outstanding temporary and contract workers in the country. In 2023, U.S. staffing companies employed 2.2 million temporary and contract workers; Randle is one of just nine finalists to be recognized in the country.
