Omaha-based healthcare company Fusion has opened applications for the Compassion in Care Scholarship, a program created to support nursing and therapy students and encourage the pursuit of healthcare professions. 

The application is open now and will close in February 2026. Scholarship recipients chosen by the company’s Impact Committee will be awarded $2,500 for their 2026-2027 academic year tuition and will receive mentorship from Fusion’s team of clinicians. 

Applicants pursuing the following degrees will be considered for the scholarship: 

• Associate’s of Science in Nursing 

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing 

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy 

• Doctorate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy 

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology 

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology 

• Physical Therapist Assistant Associate’s Degree 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy 

• Doctorate’s Degree in Physical Therapy
