Fusion Medical Staffing is donating $50,000 to MS Forward, an Omaha gym helping people with multiple sclerosis and other neuro challenges stay active, as a result of the 5th Annual Drive Fore MS golf outing on Friday, April 28.
Fusion employees made individual donations to attend the company-wide event, and Fusion matched the contributions, pushing the total to exceed last year’s contribution of $40,000. Fusion leaders say this event is an extension of the company’s core purpose: “To ensure everyone we touch has a better life.”
“Fusion employees are eager to give back in any way they can, and multiple sclerosis impacts us here in a personal way,” said Community Engagement Manager Jill Adkins. “Teams here look forward to this event all year because of how impactful this donation is for MS Forward.”
The company’s connection to MS Forward is a special one, with multiple people being affected by the condition and finding community within the walls of MS Forward. Fusion leaders recognized the way the organization helps individuals and decided to rally the entire company to support it.
“My mom is one of many people in the Omaha community and surrounding area who have been positively impacted by the work MS Forward is doing,” said Long Term Care Recruiter Corby Crawford. “It’s amazing that I work for a company that prioritizes giving back in such a grand way.
