Fusion’s Vice President of Communications and Public Relations Calli Hite has been announced as a member of Leadership Omaha Class 47. Hite will spend her time in the program focusing on community trusteeship, community awareness, and leadership styles.
“Being selected as part of the next Leadership Omaha class is invigorating and humbling at the same time,” said Hite. “Having 10 months to learn more about our community, what makes it special, and how I can be part of improving it brings me so much joy and honor. I’m looking forward to connecting with the members of Class 47 and individuals across the Greater Omaha Area.”
Hite and her fellow classmates were chosen for their demonstrations of strong community involvement and a vision for the future of Omaha.
“This is an exciting time for these leaders, and we are proud of our members in Leadership Omaha Class 47, who are preparing to embark on a journey to strengthen our region through effective communication, increased awareness, strong leadership and inspiration, both within themselves and for our city,” said Daniela Rojas Florez, Director of Community Leadership Programs, Greater Omaha Chamber.
Leadership Omaha is a 10-month program creating awareness of the challenges in the Omaha community and motivating selected leaders to make a lasting impact. The Greater Omaha Chamber program was launched in 1978 and accepts 50 participants each year.
